Our Friends in the North: University of Bath Urban Design Workshop April 20-24
This week MA A+U welcomes M.Arch students from the University of Bath who are participating in a week long Urban Design Workshop for a site stretching out from the NOMA 53 development site along the Irk Valley in Manchester. They will complete their northern visit with an expedition to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Hepworth, Wakefield and Park Hill, Sheffield.

Architecture + Urbanism recommends 'Forgotten Spaces Sheffield'
All that media fuss about stars of 'The Wire' reunited in Othello at The Crucible Sheffield shouldn't distract from the exhibition of shortlisted entries for the recent Forgotten Spaces Sheffield competition also on display in the theatre between 15 September and 8 October. Entries exhibited include Pigs Bees and Bells by the equally reunited 'retired group' of David Britch, Eamonn Canniffe and Stephen Martlew.

Snowed Off
Eamonn Canniffe's lecture Park Hill: It is what it is ... has also fallen victim to the adverse weather.
Both events will be rescheduled for the New Year.
